Pet & Profile Data

Names, species, breeds, birthdays, weight history, health logs, medication schedules, and avatar photos managed by you.

User-Generated Content

Journal entries, expense ledger notes, custom tags, photo/video attachments, and exported PDF or CSV reports.

Technical & Storage Data

Local app performance logs, crash logs, and storage status (database size, media storage usage) to support offline operations and backup integrity.

Transaction & Entitlement Data

In-App Purchase history processed via Apple StoreKit 2 (including transaction IDs and coin balance ledgers) to manage virtual coin wallet balances and unlock permanent feature packages.

Device Permissions Data (When Granted)

Photos & Camera: To attach pet photos, receipt images, or medical reports.
Notifications: To deliver local care, medication, and milestone reminders.
Face ID / Touch ID: To secure local app access via Privacy Lock settings.
Files & Local Storage: To save or import encrypted data backups, PDF reports, and CSV files.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use local device capabilities and processed data strictly to:

Provide Core Features: Organize pet profiles, calculate weight trend insights, generate care timelines, track expenses, and manage inventory balances locally.
Deliver Care Reminders: Trigger local system notifications for vaccinations, grooming, medication doses, and pet anniversaries.
Deliver Premium Features: Process gold coin transactions via StoreKit 2 to permanently unlock advanced offline feature packages (e.g., Unlimited Pets, Health Management, Encrypted Backup, Advanced PDF Exports).
Data Backup & Portability: Facilitate user-initiated encrypted local backups, data recovery, and structured report exports.
App Optimization & Safety: Ensure offline data integrity, prevent duplicate transactions via idempotent ledger logs, and secure user data using local privacy locks.

3. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal or pet data. Because the App operates on a local-first model, your data remains on your device unless you choose to export or share it yourself.

Information may only be processed or disclosed under the following limited circumstances:

Apple App Store / StoreKit: Payment transactions and purchase validations are handled directly by Apple's secure In-App Purchase infrastructure.
User-Initiated Sharing: When you generate and share PDF reports, CSV files, or backup archives with third parties (e.g., veterinarians or family members) via the system share sheet.
Legal & Regulatory Compliance: If required by applicable laws, regulations, or enforceable governmental requests.

4. Data Storage, Retention and Deletion

Local Storage

All pet records, health data, media attachments, and coin transaction logs are stored in your device's local database space.

Recycle Bin & Soft Deletion

Deleted pet profiles, notes, health records, or ledger items are placed in a local Recycle Bin for up to 30 days before permanent deletion. You may clear the Recycle Bin manually at any time.

App Uninstallation / Data Wipe

Uninstalling the App or clearing local application data will permanently remove all stored local databases, media files, and unbacked-up records from your device. You can reset or wipe all data directly via App Settings.

5. Your Choices and Rights

System Permissions: You can grant or revoke camera, photo library, notification, or biometric permissions at any time via your iOS Device Settings.
Data Access & Portability: You can export structured CSV files, PDF medical/financial summaries, and full encrypted backups directly within the App.
App Privacy Lock: You can enable or disable Face ID/Touch ID authentication and set background privacy shields to protect your pet records from unauthorized local viewing.

6. Security

We implement robust technical measures to safeguard your local data. Encrypted backup files are protected using industry-standard cryptography (such as AES-GCM) with user-defined passwords. However, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, local passcodes, and backup encryption passwords.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app updates, technical enhancements, or legal compliance. Revised policies will be published within the App or on our official website along with an updated effective date.
